Every week, for four years, Willoughby and Owen spun records at Notre Dame's student radio station WVFI. Each show was brought to you live from the station's turntables, broadcasting both Willoughby and Owen's  personal collections and WVFI's in-house collection. They sought to foster the spirit of old-school radio as well as pay homage to their favorite DJs of the past. Their perfectly balanced mix of classic rock, new-wave, punk, and indie/ alternative tracks created a show like no other. Their collective passion and excitement for music breathed new life into radio. MAX & NIGEL received the WVFI award in 2023.
